Just as "My Content" can be overridden by a custom page in Page manager (using #1103638: Task plugin for 'admin/workbench'), I'd like to be able to override the media pages. (See also #1287212: Task plugin (Page manager) for the files page.)
Being able to use the Page manager framework would make Workbench ten times more flexible, without losing the ability to be a click-and-go solution.

dave reidI'm not sure this needs to be overridden with page manager? It's just a view page display that can easily be overridden itself?

itangalo commentedIf you want to replace the view with a Page manager custom page, then you'll get into conflict about the path. You could just override the view, but then you'll have a view in a non-default state to take care of.
If there is a task plugin for the path, then it can be taken over by Page manager without intruding on the provided view.

dave reidCouldn't you just disable the View without overriding it? I'm still not convinced that this gets a majority of users a ROI.
