I'm the (co-)maintainer of the Simplenews Statistics module and was wondering if we could work together to integrate these 2 modules in some way.
To me it makes sense to have newsletter statistics en analytical tools like this module available in 1 module. Or is it just me?
If someone is still maintaining, can we work together on this?
Does this idea to work together make sense to the people who are using this module?

sutharsan commentedPlease Contact Miro Dietiker the maintainer of Simplenews. He has also expressed his interest in maintaining this module. Working together is always a good idea, I'm sure You can work it out. If you don't, I propose you integrate the functionality into the 7.x version of Simplenews Statistics.

rmcom commentedSubscribing ... it would be great to roll this module into Simplenews Statistics.
Simplenews Statistics is a great module and highly useful. It only makes sense that the Simplenews Analytics add-on is part of it.
That way, both are kept compatible with Simplenews 6.2

weseze commentedFor those interested, the full functionality of this module has been rolled into the Simplenews Statistics module starting with 6.x-3.0-alpha1 version (D7 not supported atm)

sutharsan commentedCan the 'analytics' function of Simplenews Statistics be used without the 'statistics' function? That would make the transfer to Simplenews Statistics painless.
Is a migration path available? I consider writing it and then abandoning this module.

weseze commentedI'll try and find some time to further develop the settings in Simplenews Statistics so that you can choose between native statistics, GA or both. Will post back when done.

weseze commentedI have just comitted a change that allows to uncheck a checkbox in the simplenews statistics settings (also added with the commit) to "disable" simplenews statistics.
Migration path is currently not available... And I don't really have an idea how to make this? If I can help, please let me know.
