This looks like a really useful add on (I already have Amazon Tools) but my site is stuck on 4.7 at the moment due to missing modules in 5.

I have Amazon Tools installed and working already I tried downloading and installing it for 4.7 anyway - and it works in that I can add it to my CCK data type and enter data in it - but then nothing else seems to happen. I see the asin in my data but it doesn't seem to call Amazon Tools? and it doesn't seem to display on my CCK data?

Is there any chance of it working for 4.7? or have I missed a step?

There are very different hooks under the hood for CCK in Drupal 5; this is unlikely to be fixed. If someone wants to do a backport they're more than welcome to. :-)
