Not playing well with Editable Fields module.

I'm not sure which module causes this, but when applying the 'editable' widget of Editable Fields 7.x-1.0-alpha1 (which works well without NRC) on top of a node reference create field, i get this error message, using Drupal 7.8:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 500
Debugging information follows:
Path: /system/ajax
StatusText: Service unavailable (with message)
Response Text: EnityMalformedException: Missing bundle property on enity of type node, in entity_extract_ids() (line 7389 of /home/office/public_html/includes/common.inc).

I hope that these two modules can work in peace somehow...this is an amazing combination, and I actually need it for a tasks/project management site.
