"Please click here to download the XML file" link only works with Clean URLs

I'm working on a site that doesn't support Clean URLs.

When I click "Export XML", the file is correctly generated, but the link points to "http://localhost/my_drupal_site/?q=sites/default/files/hose_xml/1/media_..." - which isn't correct.

Minor bug, but I'm too green to patch.
