Mass Mailer Return address (phplist)

We have only just recently started using the Mass Mailer function but have run into a glitch that I have not been able to work around yet.

When the mailing goes out, the return address is always listmaster@demsdownunder.org (our organisation). I am the webmaster and as such I monitor this mailbox but if one of our chapter officers does a mass mailing, we are expecting the return address to be the officer's address, not the generic listmaster mailbox.

The form that is presented for the Mass Mailer specifies to put in the email address of the sender but if that is done, the message is never processed. The only thing that seems to work is to put a real name and the module inserts listmaster as the return address everytime.

Any ideas?
