I really like this module and think it's exactly what I need, but I am having a problem with the 'published' setting on content types.

First, when I setup an advert and the content type is set as 'unpublished' the created yet unpaid for node/advert is lost - which means it can't be seen or found anywhere. So I set the content type as 'published' - the node is viewable for all - at least the title (partial), image, contact information and website url (I'm using CCK with 5.x). This of course is not good.

Also, the newly created-but-not-yet-paid-for advert shows up in the feed. :(

I'm setting my site up to publish press releases and news reports to G00gle News and 'published' content is picked up almost immediately. So, within minute visitors may be viewing the partially published advert. Is there a way to make it so that the content is temporarily set via the module to be 'unpublished' (or better yet, sent to moderation queue) until payment is made and then automatically changed/promoted to 'published' status?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Love the module but I'm running into the same problem. This module may not even be the issue.
I'm running:
Drupal 5.2
lm_paypal HEAD datestamp:1184976358 - using paid adverts
cck 5.x-1.6-1 - for two content types for publishing
views 5.x-1.6 - to show the catagorized content types
nodefamily 5.x-1.3 - to limit the amount of nodes they can create.

With those modules going, I'm testing the system out with Paypal's Sandbox and I have the proper boxes checked to debug with sandbox.

So when someone logs in..creates a node...but doesn't pay for it, it still shows up in the listing but has the "not published yet" text along with the title of the posting.

Is there anyway to fix this...or am I just missing something?
is it because of the sandbox set up?
This would be great to solve...or has it already been dealt with...
Thanks in advance for any help.

Same here... I submitted (in some way) similar issue here http://drupal.org/node/168571, but never received a reply.

Apologies to both strawman and gemini that I've not had time to look into this problem.

I'm swamped with a product launch thats taking up all my time.

I did notice that the "official" Drupal PayPal module has some sort of classified ad's system:

All the best

I appreciate the response Lee and figured you were probably busy with another project. I will look into the other module as it does look like something I could use. I do almost have the problem figured out with lm_paypal and if I can fix it with clean code I can post what I did if you would like? I'm just not to sure about the quality of my coding....anyways...thanks again.

Thank you Lee. Your module is awesome and I will certainly keep an eye on new patches and releases. Yes, I found paypal node to be somewhat helpful and will probably implement it temporarily until your module is back in business.

Thanks again and best of luck to you with the product launch.
