Installed 7.x-2.1 with AT Core 7.x-2.0 active. All seem to work excellent except for the search box and search button.
1. The search icon is at random place compared to search box (depending on browser).
2. The look and feel of the search box differs from different browsers. Round, rectangle, small etc
3. You cannot use the search box at all on the Mac.
Tested on OS X 10.4 and 10.7 Safari, Opera, Crome, Explorer and Firefox
Is there a way to achieve correct function, uniform behavior and uniform look and feel?
It does not work on the demo either: http://adaptivethemes.com/demos/contrib/?theme=sky

Jeff Burnz commentedWhen you say it doesn't work, what do you mean exactly - can't focus the text field, can't type in it, can't click the button etc? Its going to differ in look because we use CSS3 and some browsers just don't support it, not going to change that, but the icon can be brushed up if its dramatically different etc.

sibert commentedThe enclosed image (I cannot see the attached image, but I hope that you will be able to look at it.) explain the random in boxes and icon positions. The previous version of Sky it was uniform on all browsers. Same address and three different browsers on Mac:

The "bug" is that there is no I-beam that you can insert and type text in the box on Mac. In Explorer on PC – that sure not supports CSS3 – it is OK.
The only workaround I have found: Do not use it. I should be glad to get a smarter solution :–)

Jeff Burnz commentedNo picture attached, so in fact search works just fine, there's just no cursor? And some issue with alignment of the search button?

Jeff Burnz commentedCan you check the demo, I am in-between macs atm, briefly, one hopes, hate running virtual machines, I've tweaked the heck out of this but I can't test it properly right this evening with a real mac.
sibert commentedThe I-beam now is there on Mac using Firefox, Safari and Chrome. But still not Opera.
But the magnifying glass is still jumping around within the box (correct), hitting the box and outside the box.
Sky 7.x-1.6 there were no problem with this (AFAIK). But then it was no dependence of AT Core?
Jeff Burnz commentedAT Core does not affect this at all, it does not include any CSS that would affect this - the markup and CSS are substantially the same, although there are some extra things for form elements in the actual subtheme which may be affecting this.
