When posting images I get the following message

Notice: getimagesize(): Read error! in image_gd_get_info() (line 349 of /usr/share/drupal7/modules/system/image.gd.inc).

Your image field / support seems broken.
Galleria relies on core for that. I expect the issue is from core or your hosting is (too) limited.
Check a single image field and image preset support first.
