I'm not sure if we can use the name "Instagram". Please see "API Terms of Use" http://instagram.com/developer.

I would be pleased to help somehow with this module. Whether it be testing or documentation, maybe some coding - I'm no ninja.
I wouldn't worry too much about the name. You could call it InstaDrupal - the Instagram module (in the project page description). As long as other community members can find it and use it :)

I started a new working group for Instagram Module users. http://groups.drupal.org/instagram.
Let's concentrate our efforts and try to build up this module soon as possible.
We'll need to wait group approval. But i think is quickly.
