Fatal error: Call to undefined function commerce_order_rules_event_variables() in ...\drupal\sites\all\modules\commerce_coupon\commerce_coupon.rules.inc on line 14

The only way to repair the site is to delete the commerce_coupon folder and clear all my cache. I haven't been able to install the module.

I'm getting this too. I've found a few reports of this and similar errors that suggest this had been fixed.

I tried the dev version and it worked, and appears to be fine in my limited testing so far (once I'd cleared the cache). But it's a production site so I'm a little wary of using DEV code, Beta is bad enough ;)

Is there another Beta version due? Are there recommended versions of rules, entity, core, commerce etc we should be using?

I am having the same problem.

I'd suggest continuing to use the dev version until a new beta comes out.

Title: Fatal error when installing module » Create a new beta release
Category: bug » task

Beta2 is hopelessly broken. And people are not used to downloading -dev by default, leading to these issues.
Please tag a beta3.

(Also, word of advice, when it comes to D7 modules that haven't had a stable release yet, -dev is usually the most stable option).

I have applied for co-maintainership via issue #1299236: Applying for Co-Maintainership and have sent hunziker a contact-form message. I will add the tag as soon as I'm added to the project. Thanks for your continued patience.

I have created a tag based on the latest code version from August 14. It will take drupal up to 12 hours to update the tarballs and zip files.
