I would also love to have this feature. I mean, banning IP ranges. Like 100.10.10.*
Many spammers use alternate ip addresses.
And for D6 also please; ;-)

Looking into this. But I definitely wouldn't consider it "Critical". Even "Normal" is stretching it.
