I have used the "manage fields" option in D7 core profile fields option (admin/config/people/accounts/fields) to create to new fields for First Name and Last Name as Text Fields. When I go to the merge fields section, they do not appear in the list of available fields to merge into a MailChimp list.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

The form otherwise works great and I can add these users to my list with no problem whatsoever. The firstname and lastname fields simply do not merge with the Mail Chimp list.

I have solved this problem. The Entity Tokens module allows for this feature to work. It only took me an hour to see that it was already loaded on my site.
