Hi,

In the frontend, I see sites which say "Submitted by userX on Tue, 2011-09-27 11:46". When I edit them to change the site's client, it does a verify and it seems to change the site's node author. I then see something like "Submitted by MyUser on Tue, 2011-09-27 12:46" that corresponds to my own user and the time I saved the node.

Do I think right saying that it changes the node's author? Or is it the last change that is showed?

What if I want to see the original information, should I use a module like Submitted By?

Isn't that information available in the node's revision history?

Otherwise I agree the node author shouldn't be changed when adding tasks, so this could be considered a minor bug.

Unfortunately the revision history is not set up in our configuration for this node type (Workflow settings - Create new revision).

I've just tested this and I cannot reproduce it. Feel free to re-open if someone sees it recur.
