Issue Summary
In the general settings, if I check "Use the taxonomy hierarchy" then create a custom node breadcrumb for books, the custom books breadcrumb is ignored and only the taxonomy breadcrumbs are used. This is a bug.
If I disable the book content type for use with taxonomy in the general settings for custom breadcrumbs, I can use the node custom bread crumb for books but since there is no way to use [token] for a hierarchy trail I cannot get a taxonomy breadcrumb other then the lightest term. Any way of doing this?

Sorry, I might need an example to better understand this, but it sounds like it is working as designed. If you don't want taxonomy breadcrumbs on your books pages, then disable to book content type in the general settings (as you described). The taxonomy breadcrumb is based on the lightest term (by design). At present, there isn't another way of selecting which term to use, but this might be a worthwhile feature request if anyone has a better way of doing it.
Marking this as a support request for now. Pehaps I am missing something?
