Would really love to have this module upgraded so that I could use it for drupal 7x. It's exactly what I need, and through my research, others as well.
Thanks.

bob.hinrichs commentedThanks Tracy for your input on this. I haven't had the opportunity to work with ubercart on D7 yet at all. I will try to find some time to install it so that I might be able to adapt this module. Not sure how easy it will be! It uses overlays so I imagine that we will want to use the D7 overlay module. Have you done any module development, and would you have any incentive to help me lug this module into the age of D7? :-)

tzt20 commentedThis sounds great. I haven't done module development yet, but I'm sure we can figure it out together. Buildamodule.com is a very good resource that I've found. I'll look this over and get a feel of how difficult it will be to upgrade. Glad you're interested in upgrading it too. Thanks, I'll be in touch soon.

bob.hinrichs commentedThanks Tracy for your offer to lend some assistance--FYI, I ended up spending some time on it, to the chagrin of project managers trying to get things done. I almost have something working but the biggest hurdle is that we cannot use thickbox, and probably shouldn't. I was excited that drupal 7 has its built-in overlay capability, but unless you do things that look somewhat unwise to me, you cannot use it for other than admin forms. So I am exploring using ctools modals. It is not easy due to the basic complexity + lack of documentation. It involves changing the architecture somewhat. Perhaps I can get a first draft of a dev version up and you can take a look at it?

bob.hinrichs commentedD7 version is up, it was not easy but the result is better than the old one. Uses cpanel for the overlays.
