I am curious after reading something you guys wrote over on ubercart website about the new 3.x using native drupal ahah/ajax ect... what im wondering is if those changes make it easier to replicate what ubercart ajax cart used to do in 6.x ? I started an upgrade issue there but it seems the maintainers are not interested in 7.x http://drupal.org/node/1120590
There is a 7.x build of the module started in that issue but it seemed like we should at least ask (if its simpler now in 7'x) if the Ajax Cart & Block and Anon Block feature could be a Core-Optional module?
Im not making demands, just curious, IMO this functionality could be a standard feature in ubercart... to keep up its uber image and all that good stuff.

longwaveIt would be nice to get a simple Ajax cart in core.
I think the cache-safe anonymous block can be removed in 7.x anyway due to a change in Drupal's session handling. See #1285818: Remove uc_cart_exit() and cache-safe cart block, please test the patch if possible.

Macronomicus commentedYes a simple ajax cart and cart block would be a cool feature so long as its not too complicated.
Thanks for the link, this is my first d7 site and was not aware of that change in the cache, ill test that patch out asap.

Macronomicus commentedThanks longwave, that fix at #1285818 seems to work perfect and solves the anonymous thing.
I'm changing the name of this issue since that anon bit is done.
Cheers!
