How to style panels content within vertical tabs

Hi,

Would it be possible to style a region using vertical tabs with this module? Is that on the road map?

However, I couldn't implement what was shown after trying for a few hours.

Any ideas would be really helpful, as quicktabs keeps crashing my site with the 7.x dev version and I need some solution displaying content using vertical tabs.
