Lock Operator in exposed Node:Title works funny

Hi,

I came a cross kind of strange behavior (bug?), or it might be my mistake / not-fully-understand-the-view-module-and-its-capabilities, if that’s the case I apologize in advance.

My view’s filters contain several Node:Title filters. The first one has an operator of “contains any word” to allow the user, via expose, to search the view report. Others Node:Title filters are aim to screen out particular pages.

The expose filters field is the Node:Title, if:
a. I do not check the ‘lock operator”, the default operator at the view report is (as expected) “contain any word”, and everything works dandy. The search yields the expected result.
b. If I do check the ‘lock operator” (no operator in the view report), the same search yields nothing. Any ideas?

Another issue: in scenario (a), doing a search for one of the pages I specifically omitted through the filter of: Note:Title, do not contain, particular page – strange enough I still get the page. Any ideas? Looks like the search indifferent the pages I specifically screened out.
