Domain Access module has been upgraded from 7.x-2.x to 7.x-3.x and the Domain Taxonomy module port to 7.x was based on the 7.x-2.x version of Domain Access.

This task-issue is for me to track the changes and upgrade path implementation that is required to be done.

Updates:
Found that domain_id of the default/primary domain might be changed on upgrade. Raising a support request with Domain Access to get clarification - #1298240: Clarification w.r.t default domain with upgrade from 7.x-2.x to 7.x-3.x

I am working on a Domain Taxonomy 7.x-3.x version that depends on Domain Access 7.x-3.x version.

After discussing this in IRC #drupal-contribute, folks suggested that it would be good to have the main versions matching between Domain Taxonomy and Domain Access - hence the jump from 1.x to 3.x.

From the clarification and the documentation I got from agentrickard - I will be first of all updating the install file to run the "data upgrade" to change the references of the "zero id" domains to the default domain as set by Domain Access 7.x-3.x.

A quick review of the Domain Taxonomy seems that it should work after that upgrade without further changes. So, once I have the 7.x-3.x-dev branch out, I will close this task. Any further issues arising there would be treated as bugs.

Created 7.x-3.x-dev branch which includes the upgrade path. As with the other development branch, it is ready for testing but not ready for production use.
