Acquia both holds and facilitates Drupal training. We have held and hosted public training (both free and paid) at our offices since Spring 2011. Our staff deliver training at DrupalCamps, DrupalCons, and client locations. Notable recent training events include "Upgrading from 6 to 7" at DrupalCon Chicago, "Making the Switch" for new Drupal developers at DrupalCon London, and a free week of training for students & job-seekers at our Burlington, MA headquarters in September 2011.

We facilitate broad based Drupal training through our training partner program. We create, test, and maintain a set of course material and license these materials to our training partners for use in public & private training events. We market and promote partner training events around the globe. Through our work enabling busy Drupal agencies to deliver training without the overhead of maintaining materials we increase the reach of Drupal.

Our training team consists of Erich Ludwig (Director, Learning Services), Heather James and Jacob Singh. We occasionally pull help from our professional services/client advisory teams (people such as Joshua Brauer, Erik Webb, Jeff Beeman, Woody Lewis) and partner staff. In addition to being experienced developers, these individuals are also active members of their local Drupal communities.
