Add a parameter (country level or global) to display in nodes the province name translation instead of state/province code (or no parameter displaying both things). For some countries, province code is not know for the common people, also province name shoud be better for crawlers for countries other than the US.

May be this is a separate thing. In addition to this, Google maps is also upported for Spain (España), and, as far as I could test, Google needs province name instead of code to process the address.

I think you're reporting the same thing as I did at UK Counties - the issue is that $location is filled with the short code rather than the Province name. This is an issue in 4.7 as well.
