Dream scenario:

First, create content type with a media field using the media module.

Then, create content by adding the images/videos you want with the media field.

Now, being able to drag this media into the WYSIWYG field. Extra awesome? The ability to set "File view mode" when dragged in. Perhaps even the ability to set a "File view mode" for on click using either Shadowbox or the like.

This module will probably not provide any of those things.

For starters, #470366: Work with other CCK fields besides FileField/ImageField (Node Reference, Text, Emfield, etc) would be a prerequisite for anything to do with Media.

I dont want to be presumptive here (please reopen if there is disagreement) but the media module already implements wysiwyg media insertion (with style selection) and its getting more robust so this probably isnt necessary nor (understandably) apparently welcome in this module.
