I have certain pages that look bad with the date shown. Is there a way to hide the date or maybe have the date shown updated everyday so its current?
Or perhaps a way to hide the date on certain content types alltogether? Like hide date from "Pages" and "Images" but keep it on all other node types?

Go to "Administer" then
Go to "Administer" then "Themes" then choose the "configure" option for your enabled theme. Click on the "Global Settings" tab. You will see "Display Post Information On" You can enable or disable the submitted by Username on date text when displaying posts of the following type.
I have it unchecked for
I have it unchecked for 'Page' but the info is still showing. In fact, I unchecked everything but it still seems to show.
Must be another place. Im using the theme glossyblue if it matters.

Perhaps it is the same case as it is when you re-set the Post Length. You have to edit the post for it to go into effect. When you resubmit it works. Worth a try.

Have you tested it on another theme to see if it could possibly be a problem with the theme?
