Hello,
As asked on the module page, here is my quick feedback about this module.
In short, it just works. It's a great addition to a feeds import workflow involving structured data.
It's so much easier to use an xls or openoffice calc document than the unstable CSV files ("is the separator a comma? Is there a header? how quotes are handled?" -> those kinds of CSV headaches are no more :-).
I imported 8000 nodes from an xls file without trouble. Didn't test any other file format.
Thanks for contributing this module in such a good shape for a first release !

tronathan commentedWere you able to import columns with arbitrary names into custom Drupal Fields I couldn't find a way to do this with the UI - Only standard fields (Title, Post Date, Body etc) were importable.

sdrycroft commentedThanks for the update folks (even if you've forgotten you posted feedback in the first place). I'll create a "stable" 7.x-1.0 release soon which has a number of fixes in compared with the 7.x-0.0 release.
