Project Synopsis
DSAOM project is fully developed on core functionalities of Drupal 7. The project began in mid August 2011 and since than it has been a learning curve for me as a developer and as an ardent follower of Drupal since Drupal 5, has been an ethereal development phase and a bold venture first time into Drupal 7. D7 brings plethora of changes and improvements from its predecessor versions. In one word Drupal was never so powerful and developer friendly as before. Though I had to work hard to put some bits and pieces together to achieve exact client requirements in both functionality and in theming. Still need to ask clients permission to have Drupal credits on footer! But will do so!
About Down Syndrome Association of Miami
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Miami is to educate the Miami-Dade community about Down syndrome and to promote positive acceptance of individuals living with Down syndrome. We strive to illustrate that living, learning, and working with individuals with Down syndrome is a natural part of the daily lives of every person in our community.
There are many ways in which one can participate with the Down Syndrome Association of Miami, including: Volunteering, collecting donations, becoming a sponsor, donating materials, walking and reaching out to friends and family, among others...
