I needed support for the new Session based language detection method in D7 so I re-worked the 7.x-1.x-dev branch. I'll post a patch in a moment or you can pull the code from a sandbox repository: http://git.drupal.org/sandbox/fathershawn/1294550.git. I've tested this code with both session and url detection.
