I've found that relative paths, is node/NID work in the custom URL field, as well as the magic Drupal path .

It would be nice if the help text for that element said this.

Eg:

"The Custom URL option may be an internal Drupal path, or an external URL. Webform token replacements may be used. Enter to link to the front page."

Hmm, is there a need to do this? Any URL you enter in will pretty much work, do you really need to tell the user that relative and absolute URLs work? I prefer to avoid saying "Drupal" in the interface for end-users so I definitely want to avoid a phrase like "Drupal path".

Likewise, but that's what the menu UI says, I just copied that.

Yes, it does. And if it said that and told me that '' worked I wouldn't have had to test it out before knowing :)

I agree. Submission tokens work too (thankfully) but are not listed in the redirection token values.
