Request to join docs team

Hi!
I'd like to ask for access to edit documentation.
I don't have a huge amount of time available to commit to drupal documentation, as I already work on documentation for GNOME.
However, as I'm in the process of setting up a site using Drupal, and reading lots of Drupal docs, if I have access to edit I can tidy and update pages if I see anything that needs doing.
