As documented in #1279796: uc_hosting in aegir 1.4 requires an alphanumeric sku with no spaces in order to redirect clients to create site form, certain features of uc_hosting do not work with SKUs including whitespace characters.

We'll need to check out each feature implementation to make sure that our code can account for this, and update the developer documentation if necessary

Patches and suggestions are very welcome. Also knowing exactly what breaks (besides what's been documented in #1279796: uc_hosting in aegir 1.4 requires an alphanumeric sku with no spaces in order to redirect clients to create site form) would probably help. But that's half the problem right there.

I'll let the other maintainers talk about timeline, personally I prefer working on other issues that I think are harder to sidestep. If no one else does I'll tackle it some day, but I don't have a plan yet.
