Good evening, everyone.
I am having trouble changing the site name and themes on a 5.1 site of mine.

1) When I go to the Site Information page and change the Name text, I can submit the form without an error message, but the change doesn't commit.
2) The same symptoms as above when attempting to change the Default theme.

Help, please! :)

are you using drupals caching system ? if so turn it off, make the changes turn it back on.

you may also have to clear your browser cache, and database cache tables.

I thought that may have been the problem so I tried that early on with no success. I tried again just to make sure.

I do get this occasionally, but I'm not sure if it's related:

may have something to do with it, but i wouldn't know the source of that error, hoping into the IRC channel may proove fruitful. in this case.
