Hi,

CodeCogs have recently launched a solution. I guess its so new they haven't put it on their home page, or they don't want us to find it!

However, dig a bit and you'll find this: LaTeX Equation editor. Once you've made your equation, they give you a bit of html at the bottom to drop into your site.

i.e. <a href="http://www.codecogs.com"><img src="http://www.codecogs.com/eq.latex?\sum_{a}^{b} 1+sin(x)" alt="\sum_{a}^{b} 1+sin(x)" border="0"/></a>

Unfortunately I've just discovered this doesn't work on this site, because they don't allow the you to use the <img> tag. Oh well. However since this is for your website, I'm sure you can enable that!

btw. Incase you miss it, the install instructions are at: Install

I think your question about what options there are for displaying Mathematics using TeX and LaTeX is answered at http://drupal.org/node/159031
