Just played around with this module to get some better performance and then i realized that it would be kind of neat to have it on drupal7.

Thanks for the nudge, webchick. :) I've implemented the patch and created a 7.x branch. There is a current dev snapshot. I did a code review with the coder module and did my own testing. I made one minor change to remove a notice error that occurred when limited content makes the pager unnecessary.

I'll wait a few days to get any further feedback, then I'll create a stable 7.x-3.0 release.
