- Just set up a new drupal 7.8 with views 7.3, flag 7.2 (beta 6) and flag 7.1 (alpha 7),
- created new 'view': user with field 'Flag friend: Flag friend links (Flag friend links)' and block display
- And get this error message (both on views manage page and on site page with this block)

.. also field return no link ..

I also saw this. I think part of the problem is that it assumes there will be an argument but many of the default views use filters to restrict the user. The link does seem to be output in some cases but is either missing CSS or is hidden.
