needs a note that if a previous version of video_cck is installed then one should delete the field from the node or an updater to fix existing video_cck fields. you could use phpmyadmin to add the _provider field, but it might be too complicated for some.

if you go to your field admin screen and update, that will also add the new row in the db.

NOTICE: If you are using a version of this module built before 3/24/07, you'll need to visit the admin screen for each video field you've defined and submit it.

OTHER NOTICE: this is still a dev release. i haven't started writing install/update functions yet, and hadn't intended to until the actual release. however, maybe that needs to happen if people are actually using this on live sites. i hope they aren't, because it's not really ready for production yet, considering there are still a few basic features planned this week.

Title: add a note or updater » getting an error involving 'providers'

it probably involves this issue. changing the title to catch people's attention if they're looking.

thanks for all your hard work.

i think i did update, but maybe i didn't do until i made the change. can't remember now.

dev is not "suppose" to be for production, but lately many official releases of other modules have had critical bugs with fixes in the dev only. i always test on my test machine first. ;)

thanks for bringing this to my attention. i put a message on the project page warning people this is still in fresh development, which i will remove once we've frozen the features. marking this issue closed.
