Is there a patch for this?

I am unable to duplicate this. I do my testing with FF, and am running the module live and seeing lots of ad displays for FF browsers. Perhaps your FF 1.5 is configured to block javascript? I'm closing, as I'm pretty sure this is a browser configuration issue, not a module issue.
