I wanted to be able to see the machine name of the module along with the module name. I've attached a patch to add this feature in 2.x-dev.

(This was echoed by donquixote in issue #721402 "Even sweeter would be to display the machine name along with the human-readable name in the module list.")

This feature seems to have been removed from 7.x-1.6. Any reason why?
