The current page header simply read "FAQ". For the purposes of usability and SEO, it would be highly desirable to allow the administrator to override this header with something more appropriate, e.g. "Flat screen televisions FAQ".

Do you categorize your FAQs? If you do, you should have a SEO friendly header.

if you go to "Administer >> Menus" and edit the FAQ menu item, you should be able to change the title of the page to whatever you want. This will change it in the menu and the page header.

Nan: I've no need to categorise at the moment, but this is a site based heavily around SEO, so it needs to take advantage of the H1.

SNP: You're quite right, however - in the menu settings, overriding the menu name doesn't change the link path (which I can of course override manually), but it does mean that I have a massive "button" if I am using this link in primary links.

I want to be able to:
- have a url alias to a SEO friendly url (manual)
- have a primary link of "FAQ" (this is the default - using these two things is perfect apart from the header on the FAQ "home")
- have a SEO friendly header on the FAQ "home" (this cannot currently be achieved whilst keeping the above two happy)

I'm slightly confused as to what changes you want me to make (haven't had enough caffeine yet). Do you just want an additional configuration option so you can change the name of the page header? Or do you also want additional changes?

Cheers,
Stella

I think just an option to input the name of the default header in a normal text field would be a nice option. I don't have ideas outside of that [about this particular issue] as I'm only using this for a simple, one-page faq.

Thanks in advance.

Try the attached module. There's too many differences between it and the 5.x-1.2-1 version to create a patch for it. Just back up your existing file first and remove the .txt ending.

I'm speechless. I think I love you.

Now if every module developer was this cool, this whole place would just be.... even more wonderful.

Thanks Stella.

PS, is all the new stuff in the module posted here going to be rolled into 1.3? That would be cool. I don't want to get left out in the cold! :)

A new version will be released later in the week. :)
