can't seem to get the product reference field to work in the product display. It works for my current product types and products, but if I add a new product type and product to that type it doesn't work. As below.
My current product types:

Olive Oils
Cakes
Cookies

ect all work by adding products and the using the product reference field in the product display. These were all add early on in production. Now if I had a new product type as in Specialty Items or Gifts, then add the product to the type, the product reference in the product display doesn't reference it. Anyone have this issue too or know how to fix it. Reference: http://www.drupalcommerce.org/node/988

So changed the product reference view to Select list. The product shows up in the product reference list, but upon selecting it and trying to save I get the following error.

Product Reference: you have specified an invalid product for this reference field.

But only for my new product type. I have also switch to the dev version of Commerce.

I have the same problem - i was using commerce bulk product creation and this automatically added new products

ahh just realised that its a different product type i was trying to select
