Hey guys. I'm a complete Drupal noob, so please exercise patience with me. I am trying to create a homepage with the SUPERSIZED JQuery plugin that allows me to have a full-screen slideshow as the page background. The plugin can be found here:

Is it possible to do this in Drupal? I've worked in Joomla before where installing a module was a simple as uploading it, and doing a quick configuration through the admin control pannel. But I'm starting to think that it's a bit more complicated in Drupal. Is it?

Moreover, I get the differences between modules, components, and plugins in Joomla...but what are the distinctions between modules, plugins, etc in Drupal. I realize that there may be no short answers to these questions. I apologize. Any links to related articles might be helpful for a new guy.

Do I need to install the JQuery plugin, and then configure the HTML and CSS to make it work? I'm not afraid of editing HTML and CSS, so no worries. Just let me know if I'm even headed in the right direction.

Not sure if you still need Supersized, but I have created this module and waiting for approval for a full project. In the meanwhile, you can still download it and try it.

I have installed the latest version of this module in Drupal 7 following the instructions; I have created a new content type with "Supersized Slide" field, and added the images.

I see a fullscreen background, but I can't make the image fit the whole screen correctly without getting stretched.

I have tried changing the Supersized Dimension settings without any luck. At the moment this are my settings:

Minimum width : 0
Minimum height : 0
Always fit * YES

Fit portrait * Yes

Fit landscape * No

-----------

I really don´t know what else to check... any ideas would be welcome!
