Can't See My Primary Links in iDream D sub-theme

We have a very basic Drupal 6 site that's been built with the Garland theme, we successful installed the
iDream D theme (a sub theme of this one) however our primary links (same seen in the previous Garland theme) are not displayed with the iDream D theme. Nothing actually shows up (when assigned under blocks) in the "Header" region nor within the top"red" navigation bar. Please are we missing anything ??
