Simply cannot figure out how to add the parameter in there.

nothing from here works:

  • ?q=calendar/month/2011-10#overlay=?q%3Dnode/add/begivenhed&edit[title]%3Dtest&destination%3Dcalendar/month/2011-10
  • ?q=calendar/month/2011-10#overlay=?q%3Dnode/add/begivenhed&destination%3Dcalendar/month/2011-10&edit[title]%3Dtest

any help appreciated

Hello Mystery’s picture

Try escaping the '=' sign in your url, that is, replacing it with a %3D

As an example: http://example.com/#overlay=node/add/page?edit%5Bbody%5D%5Bund%5D%5B0%5D%5Bvalue%5D%3DWoo

That seems to work, btw. But the next level is doing it in post. I've tried escaping characters, encoding them... no love. Any advice?

Issue summary: View changes

Has anyone had any luck with this? I'm using my link as a shortcut, and the shortcut is smart enough to escape the characters. The URL works great while not in overlay mode, it doesn't work in the overlay.

http://localhost/site/drupal/node#overlay=node/add/murder-mystery-nights%253Fedit%255Btitle%255D%253DMurder%2520Mystery%2520Nights

results in taking me to the Node/Add page (not the Node/Add/Murder-Mystery-Nights page) because it's not parsing the rest of the URL correctly. Consequently there is no title field to fill in.
