Reset custom publishing options during cloning

Hello,
I'm using the module "Custom Publishing Options" (http://drupal.org/project/custom_pub).
I created a new publishing option (called Template). When I clone a node, even though i have checked the "Reset publishing options when cloned" option for the specific content type, it doesn't respect it (doesn't get reset) for the specific custom publishing option i created. The rest of the publishing options are reset as they should.

I'm not sure if that's an issue of node_clone or custom_pub, so i apologize if it's the wrong module I'm addressing the issue.
