Windward Jobs, a focused marine industry job board, is built using Drupal 7 and the eRecruiter profile distribution. Here is a list of features that I wove into the profile making it very custom. The one thing I still have to do is integrate Messaging so applicants can attach their resumes to job listing responses.

looks very neat indeed and well presented. You might remove the Apache Solr Search index term from the second point as I believe this would not necessarily mean a lot to most job seekers. Perhaps you can say like Powerful search function etc...Just an idea...

nice, but how about putting
nice, but how about putting transparant images of the marine in the background so that those who instantly come to your site know it has something to do with the marines.

It's an interesting response because marine in this case has to do with boats not soldiers as your 'the marines' implies which means that it should a picture of a boat so people just landing on the site know the context of the word marine and what the site is about.

What you would want is not
What you would want is not allow random people to post job listings. Drupal is highly configurable and using the Apache Solr Search API integration you should be fine.
