I'm currently in the planning stages of the Drupal 7 version of this module.

My current estimate is to have it released in 2 months. stay tuned.

Slower then expected due to work priorities.

With fall/winter coming I should have more free time to work on this, and get it built.

Can someone point me to the direction on how to create a sandbox for an active project, or do I need to create a separate one?

Once I get that setup, I'd be happy to add @FiNeX and @shenagarg as maintainers if you'd like to help build the D7 version.
