Project:Peek
Version:5.x-1.x-dev
Component:Code
Category:support request
Priority:normal
Assigned:adixon
Status:active
Description

Install is OK. I can go to admin->content->peeks and admin->site configuration->peek configuration. The user permission is configured to admin and generate peeks. However, no tab is shown on any node to create the URL, not even for user #1.
No readme file in the download or any other docs.

How is this module supposed to be used?

By default, nodes don't get the tab, since that would be irritating.

You can enable peeks for a particular node by looking under publishing options. If it's not there, then it's because the content type has been set to disable peeks. By default, node type are peek enabled, but the default for each individual node is off.

You can edit a content type to change this default behaviour, e.g., so that all node are peek-enabled by default. Or you can disable peekability altogether for particular node types.

I'm changing this to a documentation request ...

I've added a quickstart section to the Peek project page that answers this question and others.
