Can you please just change the "r4032login_access_denied_message" field in the "Site Information" settings form (function r4032login_form_system_site_information_settings_alter) from textfield to textarea. I needed more that 128 chars for the message and changed it in your source, but I don't want it to get overwritten with the nex update. I think textarea is more useful. Thanks a lot.

I second this idea. It would be really great to have more than 128 characters for the message.
