After I updated the Workbench suite to 7.x-1.0 (I am using the latest devs of Views and CTools and Drupal 7.8), I got the following error in my Workbench Moderation View:
No valid values found on filter: Workbench Moderation: State.
So, I edited the filter and selected the proper value. However, Views will now not save the view. After I click the Save button, Views still returns the alert:
* All changes are stored temporarily. Click Save to make your changes permanent. Click Cancel to discard your changes.
So the changes cannot be saved. If I leave the View and then come back to that page, it will show that the changes were not saved.
I have cross-posted this to the Views issue queue as I am not sure what is responsible for the error yet:

cpelham commentedReverting and re-creating the Workbench Moderation view made the problem go away....

cpelham commentedGo to your list of views at admin/structure/views and then next to the Workbench view, where you can click to edit the view, instead click to reveal the drop-down list of options and click "revert."
