Where I have a product (course / workshop) with a multiple option attribute (different course / workshop dates) it seems that the add to cart button on the product node does not take account of the individual attribute stock levels.

However, when you press the add to cart button it works correctly and informs the user when the course is full (stock at zero).

The course date Thursday 27th October is full.... so stock level zero... Friday 28th October has places.

Is this behaviour correct?

Any ideas what might be causing it... or a setting that I might have got wrong?

Try the latest dev version (but you may have to wait at most 12 hours for it to be generated as it may be related to a fix I just committed). Check for the date of the dev version, if it's sometime today or tomorrow, then try that one. If you are in a hurry, you can try the dev version of early October (as it is now) and try the patch on #1301548-13: Always returns "in stock"
