hello
it's the first time for me with multi-language ... so maybe i have some problems with the basics ... :)
i did the following stuff:
- installed localizer (including patches)
- one settings.php in sites/default with the default hostname www.sub.domain.eu (german version)
- one settings.php in sites/www.en.sub.domain.eu with the default hostname www.en.sub.domain.eu (english version)
the translation seems to work fine, but the language-switching is confusing:
Switch by hostname
German hostname: www.sub.domain.eu
English hostname: www.en.sub.domain.eu
if i configure like this the switching does not works ...
German hostname: www.en.sub.domain.eu
English hostname: www.sub.domain.eu
i the wrong way around it seems to work ...
whats the problem?? maybe it would work with a www.de.sub.domain.eu and www.en.sub.domain.eu - but the default site should be www.sub.domain.eu ...
has anybody an idea? this would be great ...
greetings momper

momper commentedhello
sorry for my request - did you find something? i'm very unsecure about my knowledge - maybe i did some rubbish in my configuration ... and can i start with the other switching options and change later to "Switch by hostname"?
thanks and greetings momper

Roberto Gerola commentedVersion 1.9 for Drupal 5, should be backported to Drupal 4.
It could have a sense only if there are enough requests.
